President had a meeting with UK Prime Minister David Cameron in New York
28 September 2015 03:33

President Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with UK Prime Minister David Cameron in the framework of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly. The President provided a detailed information on the situation in Donbas to the UK Prime Minister.

The President emphasized the importance of full implementation of the Minsk agreements

The parties agreed that holding pseudo-elections on October 18 and November 1 in the occupied territories would be inadmissible and undermine the Minsk agreements. President Poroshenko believes that such violation of the agreements should be followed by sanctions against Russia.

David Cameron assured of his willingness to further support Ukraine in the protection of its territorial integrity both in political and practical plane – by sending military instructors and targeted assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
